Transfer of validation
Subsequentto the merger of Trinity College of Music and Laban in 2005, and thesuccessful Quality Assurance Agency audit of Trinity Laban as a mergedinstitution in April 2008, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music andDance now intends to take steps to reinforce the harmonisation andintegration of its academic and administrative activities. Moving to asingle validating partner will greatly assist in this process, and itis with this in mind that the validation of all Trinity College ofMusic degree programmes will be transferred from the University ofWestminster to City University during the spring and summer of 2009.

TCM Students Lana Trotovsek and Stjepan Hauser win at "Francesco Forgione" in Italy Congratulations to TCM students violinist Lana Trotovsek (Postgraduate Advanced Diploma) and ‘cellist Stjepan Hauser (Fourth year BMus), both part of The Greenwich Trio ( www.thegreenwichtrio.webs.com) . The talented pair have won joint first prize in the "Francesco Forgione" International Music Competition in Italy. They also each came first in a further category - Solo with Orchestra and Recital respectively, both receiving 100 out of 100 points.
