With many places offering free and reduced access for students, there is no excuse not to embrace life in the city.
Trinity’s thriving Students’ Union is central to life within the college and serves as an effective and trustworthy mediator between students and the college administration, as well as the instigator of social events!
The SU aims to make the transition from home to college life as easy as possible, getting every single student involved from the beginning.
Freshers’ Week provides the first opportunity for you to meet like minded people and make friends on the dance floor. Trinity’s Boat Party provides the ideal introduction to Greenwich and the rest of London. Dressed to impress, sailing from Greenwich Pier, you party along the River Thames taking in the spectacular views when you decide to give those party feet a rest!This is just the beginning: you will be flung round the dance floor at a Scottish ceilidh, prepare to scare at our Halloween party in the West End and fill your tankards with ale at a summer beer festival.
The year is brought to a triumphant close with Trinity’s Summer Ball; one of London’s top hotels is taken over by Trinity students dressed in their finest, celebrating a great year.
College life is not all about going out - Trinity’s reputation for sport is second to none. With the Arches Leisure Centre on the doorstep offering great rates for students, there is no excuse not to get involved in sport and the social whirl that goes along with it. Trinity has great netball, hockey and basketball teams and our football team recently won the Yamaha Cup.
Trinity’s SU is a full member of the Association of London Colleges of Music and the National Union of Students. Annually, members of the student body are elected to serve on the SU committee to represent first hand the interests of all students; whatever your interest there is a place for you.
Within this environment you are able to play to your strengths and importantly learn new skills that will set you up for the challenging and diverse profession you wish to enter.
