The Rising Star 2006/07 of the European Concert Halls Organisation, George-Emmanuel Lazaridis has taken part in a world tour with recitals in Amsterdam's Concertgebouw, London's Barbican, New York's Carnegie Hall, Brussels' Palais Des Beaux Arts, Salzburg's Mozarteum, Paris' Cite De La Musique, Vienna's Konzerthaus, Cologne's Philharmonie, Stockholm's Konserthuset and more. This series of high-profile concerts has received stunning critical acclaim from both audiences and critics.
Lazaridis' composing career also goes from strength to strength, he has received commisions from the Greek Ministry of Culture to the New Arts Generation Festival in Birmingham. His compositions have been nominated for a Sony Award, and since 2006 he has been co-organizer of the 'Music-Village' International Festival in Mount Pilion.

Since graduating in 2004 David's career has gone from strength to strength. He directed the first modern performance of Thomas Arne's ballad opera The Blind Beggar of Bethnal Green and has been involved as Assistant Musical Director on projects for The English Bach Festival. Recently he has featured on BBC Radio 3 and on BBC Northern Ireland as well as giving a performance of Bach's Goldberg Variations on the ITV News.
BMus (Hons) Viola 2003PGD Viola 2004After graduating in 2004 Samuel joined Southbank Sinfonia and soon afterwards was offered a trial with the Philharmonia Orchestra. In October of that year he accepted a permanent position with the orchestra.
As a soloist Samuel has performed concertos by Walton, Telemann and Mozart, as well as major works by Berlioz and Britten; he has given several solo recitals of music by Bach; and he has performed chamber music with ensembles across Britain and Europe.
He recently made his debut as conductor, directing St. Paul's Sinfonia in a performance of Haydn's Symphony No. 96, the "Miracle".
Future plans include tours of Japan, Spain, Italy the Canary Isles and the USA with the Philharmonia, an appearance as soloist with the Southbank Sinfonia in Italy performing Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante, more performances with St. Paul's Sinfonia as conductor, and a possible chamber music tour to South America with members of the Philharmonia.

With her First Class Honours degree from Trinity College of Music, Verity has gone on to a varied career in musical theatre.
Appearing in the controversial Jerry Springer - The Opera covering and playing the role of Shawntel, Agnes/Sherri in the European premiere of Michael John LaChiusa's Lucky Nurse (Finborough), the workshop of Talking to Mr Warner (Menier Chocolate Factory), Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd and Mrs Grace in A Man of No Importance, both directed by Matt Ryan (RAM), Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret (Greenwich), And the World Goes 'Round and Blues in the Night (Edinburgh Fringe).
Her recordings include her debut album A Different Kind of Love with Robert Archibald.
BMus (Hons) Composition 2005During his time at Trinity Cimeon acquainted himself not only with the contemporary classical scene, but nearly all forms of new music - from free improvisation to drum & bass.All of these influences are often audible in his writing, whether that be sampled drum breaks in a classical piece or serial techniques in a club tune.An interest in the work of modern dance music producers inspired him to set up the London Breakbeat Orchestra (LBO). As principal composer, conductor and artisitic director of this 40-piece urban music orchestra, he has developed a reputation as one of the most exciting new producers to emerge from the London underground.His work with Halal Kebab Hut (a mixture of free improvisation and performance art) has led him to perform alongside other artists who cross the classical/pop divide such as Mira Calix (Warp Records) at Sonorities International Electronic Music Festival.Cimeon prides himself on reaching audiences normally disassociated from the contemporary classical scene. The Elysian Quartet is one of Trinity’s most successful recent exports, forging their career exclusively on 20th Century, contemporary and experimental music.
Formed in 1999 by four Trinity students, the Elysian Quartet have shaken the traditional string quartet concept through collaborations with an extensive range of experimental artists from virtuoso beat-boxer Killa Kela to jazz pianist Keith Tippett.
International engagements have included a British Council tour of Taiwan and concerts in the Canary Isles, France, Belgium and the Montepulciano Festival in Tuscany. In the UK, the quartet has performed at the Purcell Room, Queen Elizabeth Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Dartington International Summer School, Oxford Contemporary Music and at festivals nationwide.
Their relationship with electro-acoustic composer and producer Gabriel Prokofiev (whose Concerto for Turntables and Orchestra was premièred by Trinity’s Contemporary Music Group), has seen them record two albums featuring his String Quartets on the label nonclassical records which spawned the monthly club-night of the same name. Remixes on the album come from electronica stalwarts Hot Chip and Vex’d among many.
As well as releasing their second album, 2007 has seen the Elysian Quartet perform pioneering free-improvised works with cult singer Damo Suzuki at the South Bank and performances on the inaugural Homefires UK Tour.
The Elysians have received critical acclaim from numerous respectable music publications including The Strad who described them as an ensemble with “outstanding coolness and flexibility…quicksilver tonal variety and sharp musical and technical reflexes”.

Barbara Barros BMus (Hons) Violin 2003, PGD Baroque Violin 2005Siv Thomassen PGA Baroque Violin 2005Iason Iannou MMus Baroque Cello 2004, PGA Baroque Cello 2005The London based period instrument ensemble Melopoetica was formed in 2003 by Barbara Barros and Siv Thomassen, baroque violins; Iason Ioannou, baroque cello and Erik Dippenaar, harpsichord.
Their goals include the deliverance of exciting performances of repertoire from the late sixteenth century to the classical works of Mozart and Haydn, which move and affect their audiences. Melopoetica is an internationally diverse ensemble, which helps to bring an extraordinary input to their musical interpretation.
Individually, and as an ensemble, the members have performed in many major venues in London and throughout Europe. For 2007 Melopoetica has been invited to play in renowned festivals, venues in England, Sweden, Portugal, Greece, South Africa and Mozambique.
As a professional ensemble Melopoetica has worked with eminent musicians such as Richard Gwilt - London Baroque, James Johnstone - Florilegium, Susan Sheppard - Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Allison McGillivray - English Concert, Philip Thorby - Musica Antiqua of London, and Rebecca Miles, amongst others.

Louisa graduated in 2000 and has since developed a successful career as a freelance accompanist and repetiteur.
Specialising in working with singers, Louisa is repetiteur for the University of Greenwich, Voices in Partnership and the Cavendish Singers (John Lewis PLC). Between 1997 and 2004 she was official accompanist and accompanist coordinator for Junior Trinity.
Louisa has performed at prestigious venues across London including the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, Purcell Room and even Wembley. Her recent freelance engagements have included coaching for the Berkshire Youth Music Trust, accompaniment for Mountview Theatre Academy and Italia Conti Academy, and coaching for the BBC's Children In Need.Alongside her impressive classical career Louisa performs regularly with acclaimed violin and piano duo 'Aidan and Louisa' with Aidan Broadbridge of the Assembly Players and also plays accordian with many other folk ensembles.
