Trinity College of music has made groundbreaking strides to take music into the locality, with the hugely successful Isle of Dogs Music Project, supported by HSBC and Arts & Business, and the recently launched Raising the Roof schools project.
We have more than 20 projects running with schools and community groups. We focus on young and older people with little access to music, across South East London and Thames Gateway. We know that music is a powerful tool for building healthy communities, confidence and aspirations – breaking down barriers of social exclusion.
We actively seek to work in partnership with Trusts and Foundations and the Corporate sector in order to make music-making accessible to people regardless of age and background.
