Trinity College of Music and Blackheath Halls host this collaboration between UK Conservatories, K-12 Conductors in Education and the Krakow Academy. During the week leading up to this concert, student conductors from England, Scotland, Wales and Poland will work alongside some of the country's most established teachers of conducting including Colin Metters, Peter Stark and Howard Williams. Orchestral and Choral conducting classes will culminate in two orchestral performances, the most significant of which sees Trinity students join with their peers from across this country and Poland in a performance of Holst: The Planets Suite, Vaughan Williams: Three Shakespeare Songs and Szymanowski: Stabat Mater.

Tue 8 Dec, 1.05pm Harp Recital An engaging programme of french chamber music with harp, including Debussy. Debusssy felt that the sound of the harp, mixed with bowed instruments and flute, was the true sound of impressionism in music, and wrote a trio for flute, viola and harp in 1916.
