Claire studied music at Oxford University, then Librarianship at UCL. She came to TCM in 2003 from the British Library, where she worked as a music cataloguer. Other professional activities include being Treasurer of the UK & Irl branch of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres. A pianist and clarinettist from an early age, she now sings with the Holst Singers and has a somewhat unhealthy penchant for Victorian church music.

Helen studied music and French at Exeter University and librarianship at what is now the London Metropolitan University. She started her career as a cataloguer at the National Sound Archive, moved to run the county Music & Drama library service in Lincolnshire, then joined TCM in 2007. She was Hon. Secretary of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (UK & Irl) and chair of SoundLINCS (Lincolnshire’s Music Development Agency). Currently she is minutes secretary for the Music Libraries Trust and Director of the (dormant) Lincoln Early Music Festival. She plays flute, recorder and a host of early music instruments.

Emma studied music at Oxford University and horn at Trinity College of Music. She has recently completed an MA in Library and Information Studies at UCL where she wrote about aspects of the book trade in 17th century Cheshire, and is now embarking on a part-time PhD at Manchester University. She is happy to help with research enquiries on Thursdays and Fridays.

Oliver composes music and plays the piano and violin. He studied music at Dartington College of Arts and librarianship at the University of Sheffield. His favourite composers include Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Handel, and Verdi. He also has a keen interest in musical theatre.

Edith studied music at Southampton University where she played cello and bass guitar, followed by librarianship at City University (London), and is currently Secretary of the Music Libraries Trust. She joined TCM in 2007, having previously worked for the Royal College of Music and the London Library. Her favourite musicians include Satie, Borodin, Joby Talbot and Thomas Truax.

Walter Cardew studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Goldsmiths College. He started working at Trinity in 2000 having previously worked at Hammersmith and West London College, University of North London and Whipps Cross Hospital.

David is a cellist and currently plays with the Docklands Sinfonia. David particularly enjoys playing chamber music and was a member of the Bergonzi String quartet for six years which took him as far afield as India to perform. He has also enjoyed music courses and performances both in the UK and abroad with the Vacation Chamber Orchestra. David has previously worked at the Music Publishers Association and the Royal Academy of Music.

Androniki studied music at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki (Greece). In 2002 she came to London and continued her studies at Trinity College of Music. She joined the Jerwood Library team in 2004 as a part-time library assistant.
Nicole is a cellist and recently graduated from King's College London with a degree in Music. She is particularly interested in contemporary music and is a member of numerous ensembles including the London Sinfonietta Culture Collective and performance pop orchestra The Irrepressibles.
