The long room on the second floor of the East Wing of the King Charles Court now occupied by the main Jerwood Library is in the oldest part of the building and the bare roof beams in the North Library (pictured right) date from the 1660s. A stone arch divides the South Library, containing the loan collection of printed music and books and computer workstations, from the North Library, which offers reference and audiovisual collections, computer and listening workstations. The Jerwood Library is open to all current members of Trinity Laban, as well as to external users engaged in research of any kind.

The Mander & Mitchenson Theatre Collection is normally open between 11am and 4pm from Monday to Friday. Owing to demand, it is always necessary to make an appointment in advance of your visit.
The Jerwood Library and the Mander and Mitchenson Theatre collection are located on the second floor of the East Wing of King Charles Court (the main TCM building). Other libraries with significant music holdings in London include the British Library, Westminster Music Library and the Barbican Music Library. Proof of ID and address may be required - always check the website for the library in question before visiting. The Jerwood Library is also part of the SCONUL Access scheme, which enables TCM members to use other academic libraries in the scheme free of charge.
